Office Manager

About the role

HearthHearth is building an AI‑driven platform for home‑improvement contractors and needs a hands‑on Office Manager to keep its New York office running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, manage day‑to‑day operations, and support the executive team as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a well‑stocked kitchen and office supplies to ensure a ready‑to‑work environment.
• Identify, vet, and negotiate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and other office services.
• Greet and welcome employees, investors, and guests, creating a professional first impression.
• Organise food, logistics and set‑up for internal events, happy hours, and off‑site gatherings.
• Receive, sort and distribute packages and deliveries.
• Schedule company meetings, in‑office events and off‑site activities.
• Assist with office layout planning as the team grows, including desk allocation and space optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing an office, supporting executives, or working front‑of‑house in hospitality.
• Established network of reliable vendors (e.g., painters, electricians, maintenance specialists).
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and proactive in anticipating needs.
• Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities without needing explicit direction.
