Oculoplastic Surgeon (Physician)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible ophthalmologist with ASOPRS fellowship training in oculoplastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. The physician will join a busy oculoplastic practice, performing both functional and aesthetic procedures while contributing to the academic mission of the Department of Ophthalmology.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional and cosmetic oculoplastic surgeries for a diverse patient population.
• Provide teaching and mentorship to medical students and ophthalmology residents.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives as encouraged by the department.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible ophthalmologist.
• Completed ASOPRS fellowship training in oculoplastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery.

Required skills

• Oculoplastic surgical techniques.
• Reconstructive eye surgery procedures.
• Cosmetic eye surgery methods.
