Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

Join a leading global health services provider to support employee health and occupational wellness within a structured clinical environment. The Occupational Health Nurse will work alongside occupational health leadership and interdisciplinary stakeholders to deliver preventive care, medical surveillance, and coordinated clinic operations for workforce personnel, visitors, and authorized staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical surveillance activities, respiratory clearances, medical examinations, vaccinations, and drug‑testing collection processes.
• Coordinate employee health scheduling and track completion of occupational health and safety program requirements, including related training.
• Maintain health records in compliance with privacy laws, medical protocols, and organizational policies.
• Support vaccine management, medical supply inventory, and clinic resource coordination.
• Assist with employee wellness initiatives, health education, illness‑prevention efforts, and healthy lifestyle programming.
• Provide walk‑in consultations, minor care, referral coordination, return‑to‑work processes, and non‑emergency post‑exposure response activities within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with occupational health providers, clinical leadership, and administrative personnel to ensure seamless employee health services and clinic operations.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted New York nursing license.
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) credential.
• Experience supporting occupational health, employee health, or medical surveillance activities (preferred).
• Ability to maintain health records according to privacy regulations and healthcare protocols.
• Capability to support occupational health workflows and wellness initiatives.
