About the role

Ochsner Health seeks an OB/GYN physician to join its Women’s Wellness & Menopause Center in New Orleans. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and upholding Ochsner’s core values of patients first, integrity, compassion, inclusivity, teamwork, and excellence.

Key responsibilities

Examine patients, diagnose clinical conditions and prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Health Record and ensure proper coding of all visits.
Order additional evaluations, make referrals, and follow up on test results as needed.

Required profile

Board certified or eligible for certification in OB/GYN.
Licensed MD/DOC and credentialed to maintain a clinical practice.
Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and Ochsner’s core values.

Required skills

Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
Knowledge of medical coding and accurate billing practices.
