About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a qualified Nurse Anesthetist to join the Main Hospital team. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides critical anesthesia services within a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia to surgical patients.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and physiological status throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure safe and effective care.
• Document anesthesia plans, intra‑operative events, and post‑operative recovery details.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee or eligible applicant with legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid state license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or equivalent.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced surgical setting.
