About the role

Ochsner Health’s Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible non‑invasive cardiologist to join a dynamic group of ten specialists. The role combines direct patient care, academic teaching, and leadership of the Cardiovascular MRI program within an academic flagship center.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive non‑invasive cardiac diagnostics and patient management in a large group practice.
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows across multiple training programs.
Lead and expand the Cardiovascular MRI (CMR) program, integrating multimodality imaging techniques.
Participate in clinical research initiatives and contribute to scholarly publications.

Required profile

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in non‑invasive cardiology.
Strong interest in multimodality cardiac imaging and CMR leadership.
Commitment to academic teaching, mentorship, and research activities.

Required skills

Cardiovascular MRI (CMR) imaging expertise.
