About the role

The Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible non‑invasive cardiologist to join a dynamic group of ten specialists. The position involves direct patient care, teaching, and research within an academic flagship center.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive non‑invasive cardiac diagnostics and patient management.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiology.
  • Participate in clinical research programs and contribute to scholarly activity.
  • Lead and expand the Cardiovascular MRI (CMR) program as a multimodality imaging expert.

Required profile

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in non‑invasive cardiology.
  • Experience with multimodality cardiac imaging and a strong interest in CMR leadership.
  • Commitment to academic teaching, mentorship, and collaborative research.

Required skills

  • Cardiovascular MRI (CMR) acquisition and interpretation.
  • Non‑invasive cardiac imaging techniques (echocardiography, stress testing, CT).
  • Multimodality cardiac imaging integration and analysis.
