NOC Technician

About the role

Join our Network Operations Center as a NOC Technician. You will monitor, troubleshoot and protect DOCOMO Pacific’s video, internet, mobile, voice and IT networks 24/7, ensuring reliable service for Guam and the CNMI.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise‑level network components (RAN, Transmission, IP Core, EMS, NMS, OSS, servers, power, etc.).
• Manage trouble tickets from creation to closure, adhering to SLAs and KPIs.
• Perform first‑level isolation and troubleshooting of alarms, outages and service degradations.
• Coordinate with Customer Care, Field Operations, IT and vendors to resolve incidents.
• Dispatch field teams, handle work orders and follow‑ups for site issues.
• Support change management by creating and monitoring Planned Work Orders.

• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver who stays calm under pressure.
• Strong communicator able to work with multiple internal teams and external vendors.
• Team player who values clear handoffs and documentation across shifts.
• Tech‑curious learner comfortable with evolving tools and technologies.

Required skills

• Network monitoring tools (RAN, Transmission, IP Core, EMS, NMS, OSS).
• Trouble ticket lifecycle management.
• First‑level isolation and troubleshooting of network issues.
• Linux and Cisco environments.
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge.
• Understanding of mobile and fixed technologies (OSI model, switching, routing, wireless, RF, satellite).
