Nighttime Driver Check‑In Clerk

About the role

The Driver Check‑In Clerk works the night shift to verify and process daily delivery driver invoices, paperwork, returns and collections. This part‑time position supports market operations by ensuring accurate financial and inventory records for driver activities.

Key responsibilities

• Verify all collections from driver routes, confirming payments are accurate, signed and dated.
• Code invoices according to company policy and write‑off defective or damaged inventory.
• Validate driver product returns, pickups and credits, matching items to paperwork and placing them on appropriate pallets.
• Ensure reship items are accounted for and positioned in the reship area, notifying transportation supervisors.
• Communicate any truck maintenance issues identified on pre‑ and post‑trip documents to fleet maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with diplomacy and discretion.
