Neuropsychology Technician

About the role

The Neuropsychology Technician will support the BHSL Walker Family Clinic by assisting neuropsychologists in delivering patient care, conducting assessments, and maintaining clinical documentation. This position is part of the Clinical Staff – Medical Ancillary Support team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for neuropsychological testing and ensure a comfortable environment.
• Administer standardized neuropsychological assessments under supervision.
• Collect, score, and enter test data accurately into electronic health records.
• Maintain and organize testing materials and equipment.
• Coordinate scheduling and communication between patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Assist with research data collection when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in psychology or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in a clinical or research setting is advantageous.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
• Basic knowledge of neuropsychological testing procedures.
