About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Neurology Physician to join its Virtual Diagnostic team in New Orleans. The role involves delivering high‑quality neurological care through telehealth platforms while collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Examine patients, establish diagnoses, and prescribe medications, treatments, and follow‑up care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ensure proper coding of visits.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Request additional medical evaluations, make referrals, and adhere to Ochsner’s policies, credentialing, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
  • Valid MD or DO license and credentialed to maintain clinical practice.
  • Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and high standards of patient care.
  • Willingness to travel between facilities as needed.
