Neurologist – Multiple Practice Opportunities in Southeast Louisiana

About the role

Ochsner Health is recruiting board‑certified or board‑eligible neurologists to join its Southeast Louisiana practices. The position offers a collegial, patient‑focused environment with opportunities for academic appointments at Tulane, LSU, and the University of Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological care across subspecialties such as stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, cognitive disorders, and general neurology.
• Participate in clinical research and academic activities, including investigator‑initiated and industry‑sponsored trials.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in dedicated epilepsy monitoring units, DBS programs, and memory disorder clinics.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible neurologist (BC/BE).
• Willingness to practice in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, or North Shore locations in Southeast Louisiana.

Required skills

• EEG interpretation.
• Performance of NCS/EMG studies.
• Use of MRI‑guided laser ablation technology (Visualase®) for minimally invasive neurosurgery.
