Network Technician

About the role

The Network Technician provides comprehensive technical support to users across the district, handling devices, applications, and network infrastructure. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents while coordinating with engineering and subject‑matter experts to improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide district‑wide technical support for computers, Apple devices, and network‑connected equipment, including installation, configuration, repair, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to wireless LAN, local and wide‑area networks, and network hardware, ensuring timely logging, prioritization, and coordination with engineering teams.
• Install software, manage access rights and security settings, and deliver user training and assistance.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or coursework in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field (BA accepted).
• Five or more years of progressive experience in a network environment, including help‑desk coordination and email support.
• Valid California driver’s license and required documents (high school diploma, resume, etc.).
