NDI Technician – Level 3 (Ultrasonic)

About the role

This entry‑level position provides the opportunity to develop Level 3 certified non‑destructive inspection (NDI) skills. You will use ultrasonic analysis techniques to evaluate materials, components and systems without causing damage and ensure compliance with customer engineering requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret codes, standards and contractual documents governing NDT methods.
• Select appropriate ultrasonic testing methods and prepare/verify procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct ultrasonic inspections, document results and approve parts for acceptance.
• Provide guidance and supervision to trainees and perform audit surveillance of NDT processes.
• Audit external agencies to verify compliance with written practices.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of documented ultrasonic NDI experience.
• ASNT Ultrasonic Level 3 certification (or equivalent).
• Education: either a four‑year physical‑science/engineering degree with 1 yr Level 2 experience, or two years of engineering study with 2 yr Level 2 experience, or 4 yr experience without a degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States; ability to travel up to 5 % domestically/internationally.
