Natural Helper – Support Immigrant Children & Families

About the role

The Natural Helper works alongside a Success Coach to provide essential services to immigrant children and their families in Miami-Dade County. This part‑time, fixed‑term position ensures children live in safe environments and integrate smoothly into their new community while supporting caseworkers with referrals and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Enroll clients in the internal intake system (Trust Central) and manage referrals.
• Maintain accurate case data, progress notes, and physical or digital records.
• Prepare documentation for home visits and locate appropriate community resources.
• Make referrals to partner organizations and attend required trainings.
• Submit monthly stabilization fund, in‑kind contribution reports, and quarterly client reports.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to an insured vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience using PC systems and the Trust Central case management platform.
