About the role
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an MRB / Liaison Engineer II for the A220 program at its Final Assembly Line in Mobile, AL. The role supports the MAP Engineering Support (Structures) function, developing and approving engineering solutions for aircraft non‑conformities during final assembly, flight line and delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Establish improvements of onsite processes and perform MRB audits.
- Obtain delegation from the Design Office to execute engineering activities under the Material Review Board.
- Execute intermediate to complex engineering assignments across multiple disciplines.
- Conduct research, identify defects, and prepare progress reports.
- Recommend changes to plans and specifications and develop innovative engineering techniques.
- Generate and review documentation for approval.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years related experience or Master’s degree with 2 years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of indication, alert and recording systems.
- Advanced knowledge of engine, fuel, pneumatic, APU, hydraulic, cabin systems and aerospace structures.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and configuration‑management rules.
- Proven problem‑solving ability and self‑motivation.
- Willingness to travel up to 10 % domestically and internationally.
