Montessori Preschool Floater (25 hrs/week)

About the role

Join Discovery, a vibrant Montessori community for children from 12 weeks to 6 years, created through a partnership between Xplor Education and a leading Southern California aerospace company. As a floater you will support the classroom environment, ensuring each child receives a prepared, inspiring Montessori experience. No prior Montessori experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided so you can grow your expertise while contributing to a collaborative, creative, and detail‑oriented school culture.

Required profile

  • Completion of at least 12 college‑level early childhood education credits, including a minimum of three credits in infant/toddler care and development.
  • Enjoy working with young children and demonstrate a warm, joyful, and professional demeanor.
  • Hold valid CPR and first‑aid certification, or be willing to obtain it before starting employment.
  • Provide negative TB test results from the past 12 months, or be willing to take a test that shows negative results prior to the first day.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or green‑card holder.
