Modernization Supervisor

About the role

Join KONE as a Modernization Supervisor overseeing local modernization operations for elevators, escalators and building doors across Washington DC and Northern Virginia. You will lead a team on complex job sites, prioritize safety, and provide learning opportunities while managing schedules and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Review bid documents and survey job requirements with sales teams for upcoming modernization projects.
• Ensure profitability by handling financials, managing resources, and tracking team performance.
• Implement and monitor safety guidelines on daily job sites.
• Collaborate with all organizational levels to achieve business goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of construction or service experience, preferably supervising a union‑represented workforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership, schedule management and safety focus.
