Mixing Operative – Production Line

About the role

The Mixing Operative supports daily production at Greencore's Boston facility, preparing ingredients and ensuring a smooth flow through the manufacturing process. This is an entry‑level position with full training provided, working on a shift pattern that may vary to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to simple instructions and production plans.
• Move products to the next stage of the production line in a timely manner.
• Carry out manual handling tasks to support production requirements.
• Complete basic production and safety paperwork as required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic working environment at all times.
• Follow all health, safety and food safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks directed by the line manager.

Required profile

• Good level of education with verbal, written and numerical ability.
• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably salads, is essential.
• Flexibility to work different shifts or departments as business needs change.

Required skills

• Ability to follow health, safety and food safety procedures.
• Manual handling capability.
