Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer (National Security)

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Senior DevOps Engineer to support a mission‑critical national security program. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and modernizing Linux, virtualization, and Kubernetes environments for development, test, and production.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning, configuration, and patching.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes clusters using Rancher and RKE2.
• Configure hypervisors, manage virtual machines, and resolve performance issues.
• Support RGS integration and maintain related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software and security teams to apply security controls and resolve platform issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience (8+ years for senior candidates).
• Active US TS/SCI clearance, CI Polygraph, and Security+ or CISSP certification.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
• Proven expertise in Ansible, Rancher, Kubernetes (RKE2), and hypervisor platforms.
