Merchandiser Supervisor – Sacramento Area

About the role

Leads, trains, and supports the activities and operations of the Off‑Premise Wine and Spirits Merchandisers to drive volume and profit growth in accounts and provides support to Sales Consultants and District Managers across multiple California markets, including Sacramento.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workload and bookings, aligning with routing and communicating staffing needs to Sales and District Managers.
• Meet with key customers to review performance, present merchandising standards and value.
• Develop and maintain consistent merchandising standards and conduct field training sessions.
• Lead the activities and operations of merchandisers, including weekly ride‑alongs and ongoing development.
• Recruit, verify time cards, approve time off, conduct team meetings, employee evaluations and attend division sales meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in merchandising and off‑premise sales support.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and reporting abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work independently or within a team, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and presentation software.
