Merchandiser – Beverage Sales (Chesapeake)

About the role

Join Breakthru Beverage as a Merchandiser in the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach area. You’ll showcase our beverage brands by building displays, managing inventory, and ensuring optimal product placement for our retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Stock and rotate shelves in new and existing accounts.
• Build and maintain point‑of‑sale displays and manage POS materials.
• Perform store resets for remodels, grand openings, and seasonal changes.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts and relay feedback to the sales team.
• Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold‑box facings and address out‑of‑stock situations.
• Stay informed on beer, wine, and spirit product knowledge.
• Handle alcoholic products responsibly and ensure safe interactions with the public.

Required profile

• At least 21 years old, preferably with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and ability to work occasional weekends.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 45–65 lb regularly.

Required skills

What we offer

• $18.75 per hour base pay.
• $2,400 annual car allowance and $300 monthly gas card.
• $500 sign‑on bonus.

• Monday‑Friday schedule.
