Merchandise Allocator

About the role

The Merchandise Allocator joins Kendra Scott’s Allocation team to manage stock levels across retail stores, e‑commerce sites and distribution centers. Reporting to the Manager of Allocation, this exempt, salaried position drives inventory strategy, supports new product launches and ensures financial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales trends and create weekly inventory forecasts for all retail locations and e‑commerce channels.
• Maintain the replenishment system, balancing minimum/maximum inventory levels with target weeks of supply.
• Provide a comprehensive view of global inventory, identifying risks and opportunities for the organization.
• Partner with Production and Transportation teams to prioritize inbound orders based on business needs.
• Manage e‑commerce inventory across multiple fulfillment sites, aligning SKU breadth and depth with demand.
• Strategically allocate new product launches by channel, store and region, supporting visual merchandising goals.
• Collaborate on promotional planning, forecasting inventory needs and reporting real‑time results.
• Build inventory sets for new stores, using comparable store data to determine appropriate product levels.
• Conduct quarterly inventory rebalances and provide weekly performance reporting.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and forecast inventory needs.
• Excellent communication skills to partner with cross‑functional teams such as Production, Transportation, Retail, Marketing and Merchandising.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, multi‑channel environment.

Required skills

• Experience with inventory management and allocation systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
