Mercaderista – Retail Merchandising

About the role

We are looking for a Mercaderista (Retail Merchandiser) to cover the Eastern, Northern, Southern zones, Santo Domingo and the Distrito Nacional. The role involves visiting assigned stores, ensuring product presentation follows brand guidelines, and supporting sales through effective merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to and service assigned retail locations using a personal vehicle.
• Place and arrange merchandise on shelves according to planograms.
• Maintain product rotation and keep displays clean and well‑stocked.
• Assemble POP materials, displays and promotional stands.
• Conduct inventory checks when required.
• Report daily activities, observations and any issues to the immediate supervisor, including photos when requested.
• Adhere to brand appearance standards and represent the client professionally.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma or equivalent; university students are also considered.
• At least one year of experience in a similar merchandising or retail role.
• Residence near the assigned route and a valid driver’s license.
• Professional personal appearance.

Required skills

• Basic computer system proficiency.
• Ability to operate a mobile phone for reporting and communication.
