MEP Construction Sr. Project Manager

About the role

The MEP Construction Senior Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction programs. This strategic leader drives client experience, oversees design through occupancy, and mentors a multidisciplinary team to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight across all project phases, ensuring alignment with scope, objectives and success metrics.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 5‑10 members, managing resource allocation, performance evaluations and career growth.
• Design and execute client‑focused communication strategies to maintain transparency and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
• Monitor project KPIs, manage budgets, track expenditures and drive financial performance.
• Facilitate high‑impact meetings with clients, designers, contractors and vendors to secure alignment and decision‑making.
• Oversee documentation, procurement and relocation processes, optimizing workflows for efficiency and sustainability.
• Deliver projects that generate $1M‑$3M annual revenue while meeting quality, timeline and service‑level targets.
• Support business growth by expanding existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience with strong MEP construction background.
• Proven expertise in people leadership, client engagement and strategic decision‑making.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large programs simultaneously and drive continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts (25‑50% on‑site) and attend evening meetings or public hearings.
