Mental Health Therapist

About the role

Amae Health is opening a new outpatient clinic in Boston and seeks a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high‑acuity care for individuals with severe mental illness. You will work alongside psychiatrists, primary‑care providers, dietitians, and community health workers to provide compassionate, evidence‑based therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex patients with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I, or treatment‑resistant depression.
• Offer continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in‑person and occasionally via virtual sessions.
• Deliver evidence‑based therapeutic interventions within a holistic, wrap‑around care model.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary‑care clinicians, dietitians, and community health workers to coordinate longitudinal care.

Required profile

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
• Experience treating severe mental illness, including schizophrenia, bipolar I disorder, or treatment‑resistant depression.
• Commitment to integrated, team‑based care and willingness to work in a high‑acuity outpatient setting.
