Melt Controller

About the role

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation is looking for a Melt Controller to oversee the metal casting process, converting raw materials into high‑quality molten metal while maintaining precise temperature and chemical specifications. The role is essential for ensuring product quality and safe furnace operation.

Key responsibilities

• Convert raw materials into liquid metal at temperatures exceeding 2,800 °F.
• Control and adjust metal chemistry to meet specifications.
• Maintain furnace operation, including daily patches, repairs, refractory relining, and continuous temperature monitoring.
• Record pouring temperatures, prepare ladles for daily use, and pour metal into ladles.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining furnaces and ladles.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the melting process.
• Perform all duties safely and follow supervisor directions.
