Medical Scribe – Full-Time Orthopedics (St. George)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Medical Scribe to join our Orthopedics team in St. George. The position provides on‑the‑job training and offers a full‑time schedule supporting physicians in delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate patient notes before each office visit.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with required technology.
• Maintain and update patient records as requested by the physician.
• Document office visits in the electronic medical record system on behalf of the physician.
• Provide courteous service to patients and contribute to a positive clinic environment.
• Travel to outlying clinics when needed.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to type at least 60 words per minute with accuracy.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Availability for the full schedule: Mon‑Thu 7:45 AM‑5:30 PM, Fri 7:45 AM‑1:30 PM.

Required skills

• Typing speed of 60 wpm.
• Computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, especially orthopedics (preferred).
• Familiarity with ICD‑10 and CPT coding (preferred).
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (preferred).
