Medical Science Liaison – CAPLYTA (Ozarks Region)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for CAPLYTA will serve the Ozarks region across Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas, acting as the field‑based scientific expert on Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines products in neuroscience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with community and academic opinion leaders to advance scientific credibility.
• Conduct high‑quality, two‑way scientific exchange and provide balanced, non‑promotional information to healthcare professionals.
• Collect, synthesize, and apply clinical, scientific, and competitive insights to inform territory activities.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance decision‑making, streamline processes, and improve outcomes.
• Support investigator‑initiated studies and respond to unsolicited inquiries about J&J products.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and sales/marketing in a compliant manner.

Required profile

• Doctorate‑level degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or advanced practice provider) with post‑graduate experience.
• In‑depth scientific and therapeutic knowledge in neuroscience.
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time within the territory.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data gathering, analysis, and synthesis of scientific information.
• Experience using AI tools for strategic decision‑making.
