Key responsibilities

• Perform blood bank testing, including serology, compatibility, and component preparation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other laboratory staff to provide timely results.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
• Train and mentor junior staff and student employees as needed.

Required profile

• Current or recent graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program.
• Eligibility for certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP or equivalent).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency in blood bank instrumentation and software.
