Medical Assistant – Endocrinology (Full-time)

About the role

Grow, learn, and thrive as a Medical Assistant in our Endocrinology Clinic located in beautiful northwest Arizona. You will work alongside physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners with patient examinations, procedures and documentation.
• Perform a variety of patient-care duties, including taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and handling specimens, as delegated by the supervising clinician.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent and current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or possession of a recognized Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, CMAC). The employer will assist with CCMA certification if needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand or walk for 90 % of the shift, and work above or below shoulder level.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, CMAC) or graduation from an accredited program.
