Mechanical Engineer – New College Graduate (Masters)

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to resolve mechanical problems, design and implement custom tooling, and enable handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts throughout the product life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
• Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings of moderate scope.
• Perform and document engineering tests.
• Generate documentation for product release.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and identify sources of critical parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems of moderate difficulty.

Required profile

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in mechanical engineering and broadens capabilities.
• Understands key business drivers and applies them to work.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members.
• Solves straightforward problems using technical experience and judgment.
• Impacts quality of own work and team work within guidelines.
