Mechanical Engineer II

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to resolve mechanical problems, design and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes, and enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, sub‑assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
• Design or modify basic mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects, identifying sources of critical parts and subsystems.
• Perform and document engineering test reports; generate alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficulty.
• Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes as needed.
• Enable handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2‑4 years of related mechanical engineering experience.

What we offer

• Salary range: $100,000 – $136,500 per year.
• Location: Santa Clara, CA.
