Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will leverage a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to solve complex mechanical problems, design and implement custom tooling, and enable handling, assembly, and disassembly of components throughout the product life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical issues with limited supervision.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
• Develop, design, or modify engineering layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings/specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes.
• Generate product specifications and engineering test reports, and perform complex engineering analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 4‑7 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet‑metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and Design for Excellence principles.
