Measure Technician (Home Remodeling)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Measure Technician to join our DFW team, focusing on home remodeling projects. The role involves re‑measuring windows, doors, roofing and siding after sales contracts, as well as conducting walk‑throughs on new‑construction sites to verify installation readiness. You will work independently, interact directly with builders and homeowners, and ensure accurate documentation for each project.

Key responsibilities

• Remeasure openings for replacement projects to ensure precise sizing and proper installation planning.
• Perform new construction site walk‑throughs to pre‑check installation readiness and verify correct openings.
• Communicate with builders or homeowners regarding any needed corrections or installation expectations.
• Diagnose installation challenges on‑site and recommend practical solutions.
• Provide customers with guidance on care, operation, and maintenance of products.
• Generate and update all installation‑related paperwork and digital records to keep projects flowing smoothly.
• Identify and communicate part orders or adjustments with the project coordination team.
• Collaborate closely with sales and project coordination teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Experience with machinery, construction, or a related technical field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable using tools and equipment; ability to handle a physical workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a safe driving record and valid driver’s license.
