About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a part‑time Math Tutor with a focus on statistics. Under the supervision of the Director of Academic Success, you will support students both on‑campus and virtually through Microsoft Teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one and group tutoring sessions in mathematics, emphasizing statistics concepts.
- Conduct sessions in person at designated campuses and online via Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain coverage during normal business hours as needed, with up to 30% telework flexibility.
- Document student progress and communicate with academic staff.
Required profile
- Associate degree in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field (Bachelor preferred).
- Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Experience as a tutor or teacher is advantageous.
