About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a part‑time Math Tutor to support students at the Marietta Academic Success Center and online via Microsoft Teams. Under the supervision of the Director of Academic Success, you will help learners improve their mathematical skills during normal business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group math tutoring sessions in person at the Marietta campus.
- Conduct virtual tutoring sessions using Microsoft Teams.
- Assist students in understanding course material, completing assignments, and preparing for exams.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring activities and student progress.
Required profile
- Associate degree in mathematics or a closely related field (Bachelor preferred).
- Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Experience as a tutor or teacher is a plus.

- Microsoft Teams
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $15.00.
- Up to 30% telework with supervisor approval.
- Part‑time schedule during standard business hours.
