Math Instructor – Full‑time Faculty Position

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks a dedicated Math Instructor to join the Marietta Campus faculty. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction and supporting student success across multiple campuses as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver academic math courses, develop syllabi, goals, and objectives.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Maintain required documentation, administrative reports, and attend professional development activities.
• Offer academic support services such as advising, tutoring, and student advisement.
• Participate in college committees, community service, recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in mathematics from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics.
• Minimum one year of full‑time paid teaching experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and proficient computer literacy.
• Preferred: PhD in mathematics, three years of post‑secondary teaching experience, and experience with instructional technology.
