Materials Supervisor

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Materials Supervisor to manage the flow of materials for the production of autonomous surface vessels. You will ensure that all required components are available, meet quality standards, and are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, storage, and distribution of production materials.
• Coordinate receiving activities, inspect deliveries, and negotiate pricing and lead times.
• Maintain inventory control systems, conduct regular audits, and generate usage reports.
• Manage logistics for inbound shipments, including transportation and secure storage.
• Document material records, order statuses, and compliance reports.
• Supervise and mentor material handlers and related staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments on material selection and sourcing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in materials management, preferably in defense, aerospace, or maritime industries.
• Strong knowledge of DoD procurement procedures and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex supply chains.
