Master Piano Teacher – Full‑Time

About the role

Pacific Piano School is looking for a dedicated Master Piano Teacher to deliver high‑quality, in‑person instruction to students of all ages in San Jose, CA. The role starts part‑time and transitions to a full‑time schedule of 30+ hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide private piano lessons and group classes, incorporating music theory instruction.
• Prepare students for ABRSM, RCM, and MTAC examinations and competitions.
• Participate in school events such as recitals, festivals, and faculty performances.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Degree in piano performance or pedagogy; Master’s/DMA preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching experience with young musicians and a strong performance background.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, and ability to pass a background check.
