Manufacturing Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

About the role

As a Production Supervisor you will lead 20‑50 production employees across five departments, work a fixed night shift, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage and supervise production staff, handling scheduling, overtime, and weekend assignments.
• Approve and close production reports to maintain accurate reporting.
• Implement and document administrative services such as audit standards, vacation planning, and overtime.
• Identify, document, and resolve safety or ergonomic issues, completing incident reports as needed.
• Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employee development in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot equipment and quality problems using root‑cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with engineers and maintenance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED (required) and at least three years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is a plus.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, and holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of coaters, slitters, compounding equipment, and solvent recovery systems.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance and hazardous materials regulations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Root‑cause analysis and equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong computer and administrative skills for reporting and planning.
