Manufacturing Engineer I – A220 (2nd Shift)

About the role

Join Airbus’s Mobile Aeroplex team as a Manufacturing Engineer I supporting the A220 final‑assembly line on the 2nd shift. You will provide technical assistance to production, validate workbook changes, and help resolve tooling and non‑conformity issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support to the A220 assembly line.
• Investigate workbook modifications and submit change requests.
• Create and manage rework orders and lead troubleshooting meetings.
• Handle non‑conformities, ensure proper MES support, and verify technical content of BOIs, workbooks and RNCs.
• Exchange information with the Multi‑Function Team to maintain a one‑team concept.
• Analyse current status, generate reports and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support projects and PPS actions as defined by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 0‑2 years of experience in aerospace final‑assembly, preferably on an A220 line.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Familiarity with the American aviation market and aircraft structures, systems, electrical or cabin installations.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
