Manufacturing Engineer – Continuous Improvement (Mid‑Level)

About the role

Join a global leader in adhesives, films, and sealants as a Manufacturing Engineer focused on continuous improvement. Based in Springfield, MO, you will drive safety, quality, cost‑efficiency, and new product development across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous‑improvement projects using Lean tools such as Kaizen, standard work, and tiered reviews.
• Develop and implement cost‑reduction and productivity initiatives aligned with business strategy.
• Support new process start‑ups, technology integration, and supply‑chain enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet service targets and ensure seamless maintenance and engineering support.
• Communicate project direction, status, and results to stakeholders at all levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in adhesives, films, or sealants.
• Proven track record of delivering safety, quality, and cost improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex production challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to engage in daily shop‑floor activities.
