Manufacturing Assembly Lead – Night Shift

About the role

The Manufacturing Assembly Lead oversees night‑shift assembly operations, coordinating multiple trades to build projects accurately, on schedule and within budget. The role supports the Assembly Supervisor, ensures safety compliance, and acts as the primary backup when the supervisor is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the assembly team to construct projects according to drawings, engineering deliverables and the Assembly Build Sequence (ABS).
• Approve labor hours, monitor headcount needs, and coordinate contingency plans with planning and management.
• Coach team members, ensure compliance with 6S and safety protocols, and manage material deliveries with Material Control, Fabrication and Paint.
• Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering on ABS plans, planned hours and process improvements.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years experience packaging natural‑gas equipment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, General Arrangement and Electrical drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Basic familiarity with SAP Project Systems and Production Planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
