About the role
The Manager of Social Work Supported Programs leads DOROT’s Westchester office, overseeing psycho‑social assessments, Friendly Visiting, and short‑term case assistance for older adults. Working in a hybrid model, the role blends on‑site leadership with remote coordination and occasional fieldwork.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational oversight of in‑home assessments, Friendly Visiting, and crisis intervention.
- Supervise and mentor a team of LMSW social workers, MSW interns, and undergraduate interns.
- Develop and refine program protocols, workflow, and efficiency enhancements in partnership with the Regional Director and CCS team.
- Maintain program metrics, data entry, and reporting in Salesforce and the NYS Peer Place Database.
- Collaborate with Advancement and Program Impact teams to create funding proposals, marketing content, and impact tools.
- Represent DOROT at professional meetings, conferences, and community events to build partnerships.
Required profile
- LCSW with at least 5 years of progressive social work experience; supervisory experience of 3+ years.
- Demonstrated expertise in aging services and social work best practices.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and ability to empower staff.
- Experience recruiting and engaging older adult clients and volunteers, preferably in Westchester County.
- Willingness to work up to five Sundays per year for special programs or events.

- Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Salesforce (experience preferred)
- Peer Place database familiarity
