About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Manager of Interventional Radiology to lead its Interventional Services department. This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered radiology care while supporting the institution’s mission of education, research, and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Interventional Radiology department, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with peri‑operative services and other clinical units to coordinate patient care pathways.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage departmental budgets, equipment procurement, and maintenance of imaging technology.
• Lead performance evaluation, professional development, and mentorship of radiology staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing interventional radiology or related imaging services.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities within a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of clinical operations, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
