Manager, Data Product Engineering – Enterprise Finance

About the role

Lead a high‑performing data engineering team that delivers the integration and transformation layer for 3M’s Enterprise Finance data products, supporting finance, tax and treasury across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing data engineering team, setting goals, removing blockers and coaching for growth.
• Own the delivery plan and execution cadence for the OneStream Lakehouse integration across 19+ ERP source systems.
• Partner with Finance Transformation, the Finance CPO and Tax/Treasury leadership to align requirements and priorities.
• Deliver data products for financial consolidation, tax data modernization, treasury analytics and downstream reporting.
• Ensure SOX‑compliant, audit‑ready data products and drive a data‑quality validation framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related technology field.
• At least five years of data engineering or data product delivery experience.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional delivery leadership.
• Experience mentoring or coaching engineers (formal people‑management not required).

Required skills

• Cloud data platforms – AWS (preferred).
• Lakehouse/Medallion architectures.
• Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg.
• ERP integration experience (SAP HANA, SAP BW, S/4HANA) and SOX compliance.
