Manager, Business Development & Acquisitions

At Alcon, we are driven by the meaningful work we do to help people see brilliantly. As a Manager, Business Development & Acquisitions you will evaluate strategic partnerships—including M&A, licensing, and equity investments—to drive revenue growth and profitability from our Fort Worth, TX office.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and analyze potential acquisition, merger, licensing opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct company and industry research and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Perform financial evaluation and modelling of investment opportunities, including comparable analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flow, and financial impact assessments.
• Lead M&A transaction execution, covering strategy, due diligence, negotiation, definitive documentation, and integration.
• Manage ongoing alliances as the business representative to extract maximum value from relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with extensive relevant experience (e.g., high school + 15 years, Associate + 11 years, M.S. + 4 years, PhD + 3 years).
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, M&A, or related fields.
