Management Consultant - Banking & Wealth Management

About the role

We are seeking a Management Consultant specializing in Banking and Wealth Management to join a global consulting firm in New York. The role offers hybrid work with occasional travel to Manhattan and involves high‑impact client engagements across strategy, operations, and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop client proposals, presentations and deliverables of high quality.
• Assess client organizations, processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities and design innovative solutions, including Target Operating Models.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines and quality standards.
• Facilitate workshops and gather business and technical requirements.
• Build trusted client relationships and act as a day‑to‑day advisor.
• Stay current on banking trends, digital innovation and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in management consulting within banking or financial services.
• Understanding of banking products, systems and platforms across retail, wealth management, capital markets or investment banking.
• Proven experience delivering consulting engagements and working directly with clients.
• Analytical, structured thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel and work regularly from the Manhattan office.
