Managed Services - Physician Revenue Cycle Director

About the role

PwC is seeking a Director to lead its Managed Services practice focused on physician revenue cycle operations. You will shape strategic initiatives, drive business transformation, and deliver measurable performance improvements for healthcare clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives to optimise physician revenue cycle management across billing, collections, denial management, cash posting, credit resolution and financial clearance.
• Define and govern operating models, multi‑specialty playbooks and delivery standards for the revenue cycle continuum.
• Oversee multi‑client, multi‑specialty portfolios with blended onshore and offshore teams of 300+ associates supporting $250M+ net‑revenue organisations.
• Advise physician and practice executives on performance, organisation design, operating‑model transformation and strategic priorities.
• Manage managed‑services performance through MSA/SLA design, executive reporting and performance reviews.
• Drive root‑cause resolution across front, middle and back‑end functions in collaboration with Access, Coding, Technology and Client Delivery teams.
• Sponsor automation, AI and digital solutions to enhance scalability and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or related advisory services.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale transformation, process‑improvement and performance‑driven initiatives.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to build executive‑level relationships.
• Experience managing global, multi‑disciplinary teams and complex portfolios.
